Completely Radical designed for US not THEM. What an amazing experience. The many lines. And flow of this place are out of this world. Hips jumps spine and vert extensions abound. Everyone was having a blast. Wes had an out of mind experience today. He caught air on the hips and found a few places to fly out and turned off his brain and turned on the speed. His tires were 2 feet off the ground. Catching real air had him giddy with excitement. Justin turned up the volume and air with learning real turndowns.

Exciting morning
It’s 6:00 a.m. They are all up. Could it be that they are excited to go somewhere? All you have to say is Chandler BMX Park.
Even Spencer is up, dressed, and ready. Shocked? That’s how good this place is to ride. Last year Spencer learned tuck no handers at Chandler.
I was up at 5:00 a.m. as usual, but the boys got right up when Wes’ alarm went off.
I asked Wes, “Are you ready for some riding?” He said, “Yes, oh yes.”
Shutting down Anthem
We went back to Anthem to ride until they shut the lights off. Things cleared out fairly quickly and we were able to get some good runs in. As it got to 3 minutes before closing, the park official had to honk the horn at us to let us know he was ready to close the park and go home.
When we rode past, he commented, “If you want to ride some more, just come back tomorrow.”
I replied, “I drove 400 miles to ride here and we are leaving tomorrow. I don’t have that luxury.”
I got no response.
Many thanks to Kenneth, who rode with us to the end.
On the way to Durango Hills YMCA
Bard missed the turn to go West on Highway 95. We had to detour East and turn around. So, we got headed in the right direction and he missed the turn on Cheyenne due to the construction. When I looked up, we were already to Ann Street. He said, “You can’t blog and be navigator at the same time.”
He told the boys when we got turned around, that he could tell that they needed a little more car time to rest, so he took them on a tour of Las Vegas.
Anthem Hills Skate Park
It is an amazing thing to ride there when you are the only ones in the park. That is what we found this morning for about an hour.
Wes kept asking me if we were ready to leave about 10 times. I told him, “I’m just getting warmed up!”.
A big shout out to our new friends Jason and Mike. Keep riding dudes. Thanks for the heads up on the 2 web sites: www.oldguysthatride.com and http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-4130-BMX-Club/202754794713.
